Browse All Topicsi have three circles, they are over each others. i used numChildren to change the index, it works but my brain did not translate perfectly.
what i know:
any object in level 0 is stay in the end, far away from the screen, then level 1 comes over it, level 2 come over the level 1 and so on. now level 2 is the nearest object to you, it is on the top of other objects.
the objects i have in stage c1, c2 and c3
c1 is in level0
c2 is in level1
c3 is in level2
i add this line code:
setChildIndex(c1, numChildren + 1)
what i am thinking is this will put in level1, moving it from level0 to level1, but i was wrong, it gave me this error:
Range error: Error #2006: the supplied index is out of pounds.
but when i change to:
setChildIndex(c1, numChildren - 1)
again, this will push it to the top level
any one explain it for me
thanks in advance
