The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

How to add a bar inside a bar  that will grow depending of the mouse click inside that bar?

Asked by eddyperu in ActionScript, Adobe Flash

This is the situation experts;

I have a movie clip inside the main scene. this movie clip contain  7305 frames and it is called demo_mc, thanks to an expert I am be able to click inside a bar that I create  called timeline and this bar will throw a number that is the number where the movie clip will start playing  in other words that number is a frame number.

I need to create another bar inside  TimeLine that will show the progress. I am thinking to create a bar that will grow depending of the frame  so always will be progressing if I use something like  ENTER FRAME.
My question is how to create a bar that will grow all the way where I click inside TimeLine.

I am trying to recreate a Movie Player...is this make sence?

Thanks

I have a horizontal bar that it is working as a timeline. But I need to have all the effects as a movie player.
Inside that bar(timeline) I need to create a nother bar that will be the one showing the time of the movie while is playing.
What I did was divided the big bar in scale to go frame by frame
