I am not sure what exactly you are trying to do. Flash isn't that good at getting data from an external source (i.e. a database). However, it is not impossible. Check this article out: http://www.asp101.com/articles/flash/index.asp

To do this you need a bridge between ur database and flash if you want to use it online.
A few of these options would be php, asp etc.
