Question

How can I make the hyperlinks in the txt file work.

I have created a dynamic text field and it refers to a txt file and this works.  The problem is that I am not able to make the html links in the .txt file to work.  Can anybody please help.  {For e.g. the txt file has the following code: <a href="http://yahoo.com" target="_blank">Yahoo.com</a> }  but it does not have the link to yahoo site!!!

Hi Freemilan,

What you have to do is the following: In your textoption panel of your dynamic textfield, on the Text Options tab, click the HTML checkbox. Now your textfilke is written like HTML.

if your dynamic text box instance name is 'myTextBox' then se this property before attaching text to textbox

myTextBox.html = true;
myTextBox.htmlText = "<a href='http://yahoo.com' target='_blank'>Yahoo.com</a>"

Consider ' and " while assigning text.
