It would have to be done in flash.  Sounds like simple enough motion tweening.  Post a URL if you have one of something that is similar and I'll check to see if I can find some tutorials for ya.

Here is a URL:
http://www.iprimus.ca/~cwd/peles/tripticBR.jpg

As you can see, it looks like an opened door, hinges on the left. I need to make it look as if it's opening. IT shoud start with a vertical line on the left.

Thanks

If I get what you want you want it to start out as a vertical line and then end up as what you have on the URL? Make sure that it is a movie clip symbol (the door) and then what you should do is free trasnform it in the frist frame so it looks like the viritical line and then motion tween about 20 frames and at the last fram free transform it again so it looks like it dose in the URL you sent.  Thats what I figure you are looking for from the information you sent.  Let me know if it helps.

It works. It's just that the left edge is supposed to stay fixed in place, to be a realistic opening.
Flash automatically centers the tweening. So, I moved the final shape to have the left edge in line with the initial edge. However, Flash is still moving the shape to the right so that the opening is not realistc. Any solution?

Here is the current result:

hmmm have you tried grouping it(ctrl + g) before you tween it?  if you want to send it to me I can take a look at it.  duane_jay@hotmail.com just make sure you put expert exchange in the subject if you do.

it is not possible to use the distort tool on bitmaps or symbols in Flash..so getting perspective on the image is not possible..unless you imported a sequence that did it in stages..and then you would have a huge movie..
but an impression of the movement can be given..have a look at this..any good?
