If i were to make a pure flash website that i could update and upload whenever, how could i make it so that a user does not have to download the whole flash file everytime i update? Here is what I'm working on (just started) http://203.59.149.34/help.
how could i make it so that when a button is clicked the next scene/page will be the one i just updated. I thought maybe i could make 2 layout tables, 1 for the page, and one for the navbar down the bottom, and every page is a seperate swf. *but* then if i used the same background animation, it would have to load that everytime. its only 80 kb at the moment, but ive got to consider those poor 56k users :)
Anyone got any ideas? Any other completely different tactic i could use? thanks

I went on the ol google and found some tutorials that helped me heaps :) So I've got it now, but I wouldn't have without your suggestion. Thanks.
Just a quick question however that has been on my mind ever since i started flash - Can you make a link (button, or hyperlink with dynamic text) that will drop down the normal drop list with 'Save as' 'Open' 'Add to Favourites' etc. If you/someone can answer that with yes or no, my troubles with that will be no more. :)

Hi,
What I do is make the main or GUI part download first and then use the loadmovie() function to load the selected content on to a new level. Here is my web site with that as an example, you click a button and the new file is loaded in to a level within the main gui part.
