I want to know about loadSound

I load different mp3s on different events and frames and it works fine when I run the published html file in win 2000 environment but when i switch to UNIX server it doesnot work can anybody help me with that I have tried out. To explain

The audio mp3 files are outside the Flash files and are called from file for
every page.

Problem:
When the course is uploaded on Unix-based server, the modules
load but the audio does not play. It works fine from our own website which
is a Windows 2000 site.

Things already tried out, but didn't work:
I ensured that the casing of file names and the references match.
I changed the audio file names to characters instead of numbers.
The slashes in the path were changed.
