Hi everyone, I am newbie to flash. I am trying to create a photo gallery using flash. and I am checking this question:

and it seems very easy but, I am having some problem. changing alpha... when I change alpha to 0 at 10th frame, it is also changing the alpha to 0 at 0th time frame.

How do I do this? or can anyone give a different solutions to create a photo disolving gallery.

is you movie stopping on the 10th frame or looping back to the start, if so it will retain its existing alpha that was set on frame 10. Either stop on frame 10 or set alpha back to 100 on frame 1.

there are literally tons of ways to achieve it though just depends on how in depth you want to get with it.

Hi NeoLights,
I've prepared this .fla for ur easy reference=> http://www.ntu.edu.sg/home2001/n0069866/photo.fla
Here is the tutorial to creat this effect.
1- import photos you wish to Library
2- create Many layers depend on how many photos you wish to show( i have 3 photos so i have 3 layers)
3- take each photo and past it to respectivelayer
4- convert all layer into a MOVIE clip
5- Insert Key frame at, let say, frame 15 and another one is at frame 30.
6- On first frame, change the alpha of the first photo to 0
7- On frame 15 change the Alpha of the first photo to 99
8- On frame 30 change the alpha of the first photo to 0
Repeate steps 6 to 8 for the rest BUT the keyframe are shift by 15 frame.(look at the source code you will see)
