The complete event is never triggered if I export with sound. It is triggered when I export without sound.

Browse All TopicsIf I export FLV from Quicktime with no audio, I can use myMedia.playing to test if the movie is still playing:
myMedia.playing = true when the clip is playing, and when it gets to the end,
myMedia.playing = false just as it should.
But when I export the same file as FLV from Quicktime WITH audio,
myMedia.playing = true even well after reaching the end of the clip - it never returns false.
Any idea why?

Thanks - that does answer the question, although the solution is an unfortunate one. It basically boils down to...
If I want the sound, I have to import the quicktime movie into flash, clip off the end, then export it as FLV from Flash. Which means I can't take advantage of the fact that Quicktime does a much better job of exporting FLV - smoother play, smaller file size. Oy. http://www.experts-exchang
