Is this the only solution? Could I adjust projector setting, such as default quality, loop, etc.?

I need to import this movie into Flash MX and export as standalone executable (windows projector filter). Everything looks good, but the movie playback is looped by default. I need it to play a movie once. What should I do?

Howdy... :)
After you import the AVI file into the Flash, go to the very last frame and create a new key frame and add this script and publish the projector...
stop();
That's the only command you will need to stop the unnecessary loop... :)
