ctrl+Insert (Copy) , shift+Insert (Paste) in flash cs 3
Is there any way to force the adobe flash CS3 script editor to recognize ctrl+Insert (Copy) , shift+Insert (Paste) and shift+Delete (Cut) in addition to its supported ctrl+C / ctrl+V / crtl+X ?
every copy action I do I have to do twice, this is a major productivity killer for me ....

It works at my system as normal,
to test paste shortcut you must have "cut or copy" first, because paste work only if clipboard already have something,
may be one reason could be that "shift+insert" might be already took by another application as systemlevel shortcut..

I am well aware that I have to cut or copy before I try to paste.
and I do't think the problem is that its taken, If I try ctrl+Ins and then shift+Ins in notepad it works as expected.
I am using the trial version of flash CS3 - is this the same environment in which you where successful in asigning ctrl+Ins and using it to paste code ?

yes, I have tested it on Flash CS3 and its working fine..

which option did you choose in the commands combo box
and what item in the tree ?
can anyone else try this and say if it works for them ? (specifically the Shift+Insert for paste )

I selected, "Paste in Center" under Edit
and it works fine for me.

well, It's not abandoned,
anyway I will accept it with a B grade since on one hand it seems right but in practice it did not fully solve my problem.
I will probably open a new Q specific for the shift+insert issue.

we are at 66%
I have ctrl+Insert and ctrl+Delete working,
however shift+Insert refuses to work :(
can you check and tell me if it works for you ?
