Hello,
I want to create a system which has the features of windows aero tabbing and mac osx dock bar. In the whole you will use this program to scroll through and browse your pictures. Each picture will have its own window as in the aero system, and you should be able to zoom in/out and to move around the picture inside the window. Now I wonder if Flash would be the right tool for this or if I have to turn to java. This will be a web application and it needs to run with a high frame rate (25-30fps?) due to that I want to simulate a 3D environment. The windows should move, minimize and maximize really smoothly (no image tearing) and same goes for the animation of the dock bar.
The application should run in a full screen IE window and preferrebly (not necessarily) run on older computers with the same performance. I would like to list pros and cons with java and flash. Also if there is another alternative.
Thank you.
/Robert
