When trying to export a .swf or publish my .fla, which was created on another machine. I get this error:
"Error creating Flash movie file. Be sure the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive. Also, check that the file name is not too long."
My files are not locked or marked as read only, all my files are on my local hard drive, all my files are in the same folder/directory, and I have tried to rename my .FLA.
I logged in to another admin account on my Macbook and copied the .FLA over to the desktop, and after changing the publish settings to Default I was able to publish/export .SWF movies from the .FLA.
It's like my main user account doesn't have privileges to write to the Desktop of it's own account? I've made sure the privileges were set properly to allow Mike (my main account) to Read & Write to the desktop and to the specific file. I even went as far as Right clicking on my " Macintosh HD" > Get Info > then I added mike to the Sharing and Privileges list with Read & Write access on the entire HD. Which took like 20 minutes, but still didn't help.
Any Ideas?
