Question

create empty movie clip array inside an empty movie clip

So for the following movie clip array that I created, I want to put all the movie clips I created inside a movie clip called imagesGallery.

var myThumbnails:Array = new Array();
for (var i:Number=0; i < 10; i++) {
        trace(i);
    var currentThumbnail:MovieClip = this.createEmptyMovieClip("currentThumbnail" + i, this.getNextHighestDepth());
        //trace("Name: " + mc._name);
        myThumbnails.push(currentThumbnail);
            
}
//trace(myMCs);
for (var j:Number=0; j<10; j++) {
    var currentThumbnail:MovieClip = myThumbnails[j];  
    currentThumbnail._x = j*100
      trace(mc);
    // do something with that movieclip
    currentThumbnail.loadMovie("2.jpg");
}


I tried this, but I get undefined nine times, and then 900, and only one (the last) image appears.
