swf plays fine in Flash preview but messes up when played in a browser. Help!

Hi,

I created a flash website with a number of UI loaders. When I preview the main timeline within flash it looks and works fine. However when played through an html web page a number of individual movie clips start looping even though there's a stop action on them within the file.

I think it is connected to the fact that I'm loading other content through the main file because it works okay by itself.

Has anyone experience a similar problem? or know of a potential solution?
