FLVPlayback not playing initially

I am using actionscript3 to load multiple videos, one after another using the FLVPlayback object; the flv files are about 6mb-9mb each. The issue I'm having is that when new users are hitting the site, the flv files are not cached so they take a while to load. However, for some reason even when I set the bufferTime and try to use the playWhenEnoughDownloaded function, the file will not play even after it has completed downloading.

Has anyone experienced this problem before?
