thanks. i read about this product a while back. but for $80.00, i'm still looking for a less costlier solution that would pretty much restore the FLA to nearly 100%. well, i'll settle for better than 80%.
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have an FLA that was done on the CS3 PC version. I keep getting the "Failed to open document" error on my CS4 mac version.
Is there any incompatibility between the 2 versions?
If so, what is the solution, other than asking the creator of the CS3 PC version to save or export (he is no longer working for us) the file another way?
Is there a way of reconstructing it from the SWF with a mac version decompiling software?
Thanks!

Hey!

I have a thing called Trillix Flash Decompiler. You can get it from http://www.flash-decompile
Here's the deal though, I've used two or three different kinds of decompiler and while they "work", you'll always have some holes to fill in. Also, they tend to rename EVERY symbol in the library which is a real pain. But it'll get you out of trouble.
I'd love to know how you get on, fill us in.
