The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Question Related Making Black & White Image To Color

Asked by bonnseye in Web Graphics Software

Tags: color, white

Hello All,

First of all let me tell you about myself.
I am not a graphic designer, visualiser and to a sense graphic expert. I am a Win32 SDK Programmer using Microsoft Platform SDK as base and VC editor. I also use third part SDK'S free and also paid ones. Recently I bought and used Leadtools Raster Imaging Pro Ver 13, for various requirements of my application.

What I want is that no where I found a way to make a Grayscale or Black & White Image to Color. I hope this can be done if we open the Image in PHOTOSHOP and do it manually from top to toe, guessing and visualising color ourself and it will take time.

But I need this functionality in my applciation too. Is there any method or any algorithm or any tollkit which does this. I know this is not like changing brightness of an image that you just USED the API (FUNCTION CALL) from the Libarary and your job is done.
But should not be too tedious also, like we doing it completey manually giving colors to each and every part fo the image one by one.
Also I can guess if not 100% like a colored photo it can me made to some extent looks like colored.

Note :: I have seen one person myself, with a 10*8 Photo Black & White and Same Photo Colored, and also it was not PH. and also it didn't took muck time too and was not rigorous or completely manual. It was some third party software. That guy didn't told me more than this.

Eagerly waiting for your comments.

Best Regards
Bonns
