Browse All TopicsOkay this problem is kinda goofy... But I'll give up good points for it, if you can resolve it for me... It's driving me nuts...
Using Word 2000 SP3, Pagemaker 6.5 and Distiller 4.05 and Acrobat 4.05... Vesions don't matter becuase I can use Pagmaker 7.0 and distiller 5 and acrobat 5 and still recreate the problem:
Created a Table (it doesn't matter if it's a table or not, it does it all around) using Word
Embedded the file as an object in Pagemaker/Note that this is EMBEDDED and not linked, so the original file is not needed (I've tried with or without the file, it don't matter)
When I use Superscripts (that's like this O --> º )in Word with NUMBERS in Arial font, they get chopped when I close word and go into pagemaker. What is going on?????
To recreate problem you can do this:
1) Go to pagemaker
2) click edit and choose insert object
3) choose create new Microsoft Word document
4) It opens MS Word / Change font to Arial and size to 10
5) Type "1234567890" then choose Format from top and then Font and then choose SUPERESCRIPT, type "12345678890" again... It should be raised
6) Close Word (You don't have to save anything, it's embedded)
7) Look okay right? well, zoom into it and you'll see the superscripted numbers are chopped!!!!
Why? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone?
By the way Adobe could not recreate the problem! I'm waiting for their research team to call me.
