Is there a simple way (in code & not a third party) to convert wmf format to another useful format such as bmp, jpg, etc.

How i usually deal with wmf files is I import the wmf file as a image in Microsoft Word and the i copy and paste it into Paint and save it as a gif or a jpeg.
