I hate to say this, but the answer is no.
Compatibility issues are still at large since DVD home writing is relatively new. It was the same way when CD writing was new too.
There are currently two standards out there one is supported by the DVD Forum. Which is DVD-RW
The other is the DVD+RW Alliance.
The alliance consists of the companies:
HP, Philips, Ricoh, Sony,
Yamaha, Verbatim/Mitsubishi Chemical, Dell and
Thomson.
As you can see, no Pioneer. Pioneer is still only in the DVD Forum.
DVD-R and DVD+R are super close is compatibility except for three things.
1. DVD-R's laser wavelength is 635nm while DVD+R's is 650nm
2. DVD-R's data track form is Wobbled Groove, while DVD+R's is Phase Modulated Wobbled Groove
3. DVD+R has copywrite protection.
Hopefully they will all join together and every DVD writer will conform to one set of standards... but as for now... ::sigh:: we'll just have to watch out.
Best of Luck,
Benny B.

Dont think so. Certainly never heard of it being done, and DVD+R media isnt listed on the DVR-105 compatibility page.
