I grabbed the binary imagemagick for linux:
ImageMagick-i686-pc-linux-
gnu.tar.gz
I extracted it, all seemed to go well.
When I run ./convert I get the message.
I have little doubt that I have a missing PATH, my path reads:
/usr/local/jdk/bin:/usr/lo
cal/bin:/b
in:/usr/bi
n:/usr/X11
R6/bin:/us
r/local/bi
n:/usr/X11
R6/bin:/ho
me/guest/b
in:/home/g
uest/Image
Magick-5.5
.7/bin
When I run convert, or anything else, I get
./convert: error while loading shared libraries: libMagick.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I am clearly missing something obvious here.
If we need, I have set up a guest account on a test server.
