I used to capture video to still photo. I have formatted my pc and forgot to save the software I used. Now I cant do that anymore, please advise me what site can I donwload that free software again.

Please advise, thanks.

This software took each frame and dumped it to a still image? Or just one or two frames?

to take out a few frames (not the all video), use virtualdub: www.virtualdub.org

to take out every frame, I believe  Camtasia does that. Here's a tut on the camtasia site:http://www.techsmith.com/products/camtasia/tutorials/stillimage.asp

Hi:

I always use Xing player whch I find easy to use. Just pause the movie where you take photo and click on the camera button. Then it will ask the location to save and file format.

Check out Video2Photo, its fast, free and can do single frames or sequences in Bitmap, Jpeg, Flash and a bunch of other formats.  I can also work from digital or analog video source:
