Add image to a google map

I would like to overlay an image onto the google map that i have embedded into my webpage using the google iframe link. Can anyone advise me how to do this?

use a div then position via css.
see example below.. just change your settings to what you need,
then test in different browsers. (as if you didn't know :) )
