* Retail - Brought stand alone in stores like BestBuy, CompUSA etc..
* Upgrade - To upgrade from a previous operating system
* Branded - Specifically branded copies from large computer manufacturers like Dell
* Action pack - Was part of the Microsoft Action Pack
* Volume License - Typically used in large businesses, government and educational institutions
different types of designations of XP will make valid keys useless, so i suggest you find a copy of each one of these so you won't run into a snag...or at least find out if all the computers have the same type of key designations. Maybe you may need only one disc...
