In order to conserve some system resources, thereby, enhancing overall speed of my friend's pc, she and I agreed to uninstall We-Blocker. Unfortunately, each time we attempt to uninstall it, we get a box requesting the master account password. We typed in what was written down about a year ago, but, the program does not recognize the entered password. Is there a way we can work around this or perhaps get the proper password for purposes of uninstalling this program?
Any help on this request will be greatly appreciated. I will look forward to hearing back from everyone.
Thank you.
George

try your uninstaller

Hi There;
I am happy to say this problem is now fixed thanks to the link given to ursoftware.com by dstewartjr. At first, Your Uninstaller gave me the initial impression it would not uninstall the password protected We-Blocker. When I clicked Uninstall and selected it, the program requested I removed all invalid registry keys associated with this program first. So, I selected Yes to that part. After it removed the registry entries associated with We-Blocker, it was then able to uninstall the program itself. Every thing was made so easy too by just the click of the mouse.
Many thanks for the tip on this one.

If you can't remember typing a password it could still be set to the default which is BOOTS, so you could start first by giving that a try.

If you don't like that then follow a method to uninstall the software here: http://www.thetechlounge.c
Then, Go to START, then RUN, type REGEDIT and hit enter.
Now first you need to back the registry up, FILE, EXPORT. Now do a search for we-blocker and every key it finds delete it, do this until you can find no more. hopefully this will fix it.
