AD access & DNS
Hi
A client of mine has two sites each with a 10 SDSL uplink
Up till now they only had one (DC + DNS) server
Many complained about disconnections or slow authentication from the remote site
I therefore promoted a server to DC on the remote site; this went well
I also activated DNS server on this new DC.
Some workstations are statically IP'd while others get their IP¨address from a DHCP server.
Must I configure the remote PCs so that they use the local DC as their primary DNS or will this happen naturally ?
thanks
