create new catalog from existing one

Hi there,

We are running our website on ATG Dynamo for B2C. We already have a product catalog set up for existing website store. We need to create another store from existing store. How can I create a new catalog from an existing one? here is more details.

In ACC, we have three catalog.
catalog A
catalog B
Catalog C

in Catalog A
WE have three category.
categoryA1
categoryA2
categoryA3

now,  I need to create another catelog D with all categoryA1 product structure i.e. catalog D should have the same product structure, categories, products and skus inside it.


Please help.

What data structure is the information regarding stores and their respective products stored in?

And secondly can you provide us with the code of the class which defines a store and a product?

each catalog has few categories and each category has few products. Each product has skus which are line item and can be added to cart. only skus can be added to cart.

default catalog store is associated with site.
