What protocol's have you configured your tomcat to listen on. If HTTP then you could use an Apache mod rewrite / proxy set-up, to proxy all requests containing a given string to the Tomcat e.g. assuming the tomcat's listening on port 1234 on the servers internal / local ip, and you access your application via url along the lines of: http://www.mydomain.foo/to
LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so
LoadModule proxy_module modules/mod_proxy.so
LoadModule proxy_http_module modules/mod_proxy_http.so
...
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^/tomcat-application-acces
Note:
NC = Not case sensitive
P = Proxy the request to the Tomcat application
L = Last - don't look for any more rules.
If AJP then you'll need to load mod_jk, and set up a worker or two, without knowing your set-up can really help at this point.

Hi
What are you trying to do with the Tomcat?
What protocol(s) (HTTP, AJP) and ports will the Tomcat be listening for/on?
Do you already have one or more apache servers installed and running, dito for the Tomcat?
If installed are they on the same machine or different servers?
If multiple how do you want things load balenced?
Do you have any static apache level content for the site, even if it's an error page indicating the tomcat's not well?
