Alfresco doing weird stuff

Hi there,
i have a strange problem with Alfresco 3.2 Community Edition:

I have many spaces and this spaces have notifikation Rules (Send emails to users. condition: all items)
Suddenly Alfresco starts to send Emails in the night (nobody is in the Office)
Every day it starts on a different time. Sometimes 21:00, 22:00, ...
And a pair of minutes bevore it's doing the following tomcat log entry many times:

21:31:41,274  ERROR [node.db.DbNodeServiceImpl] Failed to move child nodes to parent node's store.  Set log level to WARN for this class to get exception log:
   Parent node: 5959
   Error:       Node does not exist: workspace://SpacesStore/2fb1757f-ea04-11dc-98aa-15050c77bdb0

I think, there is no sheduler.

Do u have any idea whats going on????

Try rebuilding the index by setting/adding the below property in custom-repository.properties.

Don't forget after the rebuild to set index.recovery.mode=FULL back to index.recovery.mode=AUTO

# Index Recovery and Tracking Configuration #
# ######################################### #
#
# Recovery types are:
#    NONE:     Ignore
#    VALIDATE: Checks that the first and last transaction for each store is represented in the indexes
#    AUTO:     Validates and auto-recovers if validation fails

hi there,

Thank you very much for your help!

we have about 1000 - 1400 documents in alfresco.
How long do u think it will take to do a rebuild?
How can i back up the old index?

It might take half an hour.

  • Stop alfresco    
  • copy these folders E:\alfresco\alf_data\lucene-indexes and E:\alfresco\alf_data\backup-lucene-indexes to a safe location.    
  • Delete their contents on the original position.   
  • make changes to the file custom-repository.properties as mentioned.
      
  • start alfresco and check the alfresco.log file. it will tell you about index recreation 10% 20% etc.
       
  • When finished change  index.recovery.mode=FULL back up auto.
