You can set jsp precompile option "on" in application deplyment descriptor ( weblogic.xml or web.xml files in WEB-INF folder in web application ) and weblogic will pre-compile .jsps every time it starts.

Browse All TopicsI'm running weblogic and i run in development mode so i can change jsp's and have them compiled on the fly. but i would also like to have weblogic compile them all at startup (if say there have been significant changes to the codebase that require a restart and i don't feel like clicking through the web app to compile all the jsp's). I want to be able to bounce the server and come back some time later to an app that has all it's pages compiled and i can still update jsp's.
i looked for something in the console but didn't find anything. i would prefer to compile on the server (since it's just for development) as opposed to ant (complicated exploded ear script and a memory bug with weblogic make it more difficult).
