Question

Username and password for weblogic password

Hi

I am trying to run weblogic 7.0. While installing it did not ask for a default password.
Now while starting the server, i get the prompt
Enter username to boot WebLogic server:system
Enter password to boot WebLogic server:

I tried system, password ... system, weblogic ... weblogic, weblogic .... but i was unable to start my server. The exception is
Throwable: java.lang.SecurityException: Authentication for user system denied
java.lang.SecurityException: Authentication for user system denied

Can anyone help. It is urgent.

Have you run the domain configuration wizard? It asks for a username and password. If you haven't started the server (and you don't have any application deployed, so it isn't a great loss) delete the domain (just erase the domain subdirectory, under BEA_HOME\user_projects) and rerun the domain wizard.

I tried using the configuration wizard but it is not working.
I will explain in detail.
My bea home is c:\bea70

My scripts are located in a directory (startweblogic and other scripts)
C:\Programs\my-server\wlconfig\config\my-server

The other files are located in a directory
C:\Programs\my-server\....

This code base i have received from a third party and now have to run it. I feel that the domain is already configured and the files located in the above said directory. Can i link this domain to the server. I do not want to create the scripts using the wizard .
Can you suggest how to go about it ???

One more thing ...
How can i extract the password from the filerealm.properties file ??? Maybe that would help

This worked for me on WL6.1, not sure if it would work for 7.0

I am using Eclipse IDE. I am developing a struts application and i deployed it in weblogic server. I want to debug my files using breakpoints. i set the breakpoint. after i start the server when i come to the page now i can debug the page. but once the debugging for the page is over it automatically goes to the next page. is there any possibility to debug the same page without restarting the server
