How to read the log file of WebLogic's plug-in for iPlanet web server

Asked by nbkd72e in BEA WebLogic Application Server, Sun Java System Web Server

We are trouble-shooting some weird web session problems. The application runs on a two-node WebLogic 8.1 cluster with 2 load-balanced iPlanet 6.1 web servers.

We turned on the WebLogic plug-in by adding the "Debug=ALL" parameter to the ""wl_proxy" service definition in "obj.conf" of iPlanet. It does generate the log file with many detailed information.

However, it seems hard to interpret some of its content, especially the messages about determining which WebLogic server instance the HTTP request should be forwarded to.

Is there a document explaining how to read the log file? A sample of the log file is attached.

Thanks
