You can do in the following manner
1) Write a wrapper class(task) to use httpURLConnection to the servlet
2) schedule this class in websphere(Using com.ibm.websphere.schedule

I know of no way (in WebSphere) to do this automatically.
What operating system are you using? You could write an application that would cause the servlet to be invoked, and use the system schedule (cron on *ix, or scheduler on windows) to execute this program as often as you would like.
