Active Directory integration problem

We have a Network deployment of Websphere 5.1 that we are activating Active Directory as a User Registry through LDAP. When we do this and enable Global security, the startup of the server (in this environment we only have one server on the node) blocks (or something) after printing the following to the log:

[10/30/07 11:01:13:893 CET] 26e03bef UserRegistryI A SECJ0136I: Custom Registry:com.ibm.ws.security.registry.ldap.LdapRegistryImpl has been initialized

Same message twice... and then it hangs for almost exactly 10 minutes before printing the next statement:

[10/30/07 11:11:15:831 CET] 72bfbbed JMXSoapAdapte A ADMC0013I: SOAP connector available at port 8885

Any ideas about what is going on will be highly appreciated. It sure looks as though some 600 second timeout or something is affecting this. When we run it on a stand alone server we don't have this problem. Apart from this when the server is started everything works fine.Start Free Trial
