Question
Can not start database
Forgot "M" when setting sga_target and now can't start db. Spfile file is in asm. This is a linux system and db is 10203.
Everything is in asm and I cannot copy anything out to get the dbid so far as the database isn't started so rman complains.
Need help please.

Got the dbid from a recent AWR but turned out all I had to do was create pfile from spfile and fix the settings in pfile and then create spfile from the corrected pfile.
