Hi, I have a user whom I have delegated for an OU as he is a site administrator. The problem is that he can't join more than 10 workstations to the domain & I want him to bt able to join more I have tried doing it through the group policy but it is not working. In additoin I want him to be able to reset his own account password when needed, how can this be done? Regards,
There is no limit of computer accounts an administrator can create. Whats the error he's getting?
If he needs to reset his password he needs to log on with a different administrative account with Account Operator permissions to the OU containg the user that needs the reset.
you can easily solve that problem by making him a member of the "Domain Admins" group. Most other accounts do not have the privilege to add more than 10 workstations to a domain.
