some points that come to mind..
- interwoven would have the upper hand in terms of the amount of level of detailed customizations you are able to perform on different aspects of the interface, ie you can make an eaiser look and feel for fee earners to get used to
- using a 3 tier architecture allows more security (ie users cant simply just navigate to a mapped folder of documents and open them via windows explorer)
