Add Front End Login For Users In Joomla 1.5

Hello All,

    Just started using Joomla for a new site.  So far been able to figure things out on the setup.  I wanted to see if there was a way to add a Logon box to the frontpage where authorized users can login and add pages to certain sections.  I know I saw this in Joomla 1.0 but can't figure out how to enable this feature in 1.5.  I went into User Menu and enabled but nothing is showing up.  Any help would be appreciated.

Create a new module and select login from the options.  Then publish the module in the position that you want.
