Flash Intro in Joomla

ive tried creating index.html with the embedded flash code and flash with the  ENTER HERE button pointing to index.php

yet that still points back to the flash intro


how  would you go about this?

You may need to make a new template and use that for the flash intro page.  Here is a link

Method 1: the easy way:
On Apache servers you can specify which of these files has priority if some one arrives at your site without specifying a file:
so http://www.your-domain.com/ could be set to show index.html first. Your .html file could be your flash intro and a link to index.php (your Joomla site).

Method 2: assign a different template (that you make yourself perhaps) to the first link on your main menu - which would be shown to someone arriving at your site. In this template either hard-code your flash intro or add it to a content item that you make show on the first menu item.

Ive tried the apache way and added the code in the code brackets to my .htaccess

however the page www.gospelfirebrunch.com with the intro still has the flash animation that upon enter site returns to www.gospelfirebrunch.com

seems like the flash intro's link ENTER HERE works fine if I wait until the flash intro plays out until the last frame,

yet it doesnt work properly if Id l liek to use lets say in the middle of animation.. middle being middle of timeline.

does that ring a bell for anyone?

someone suggested doing ENTER HERE as seperate of flash, also gives a space for using a graphic, that is what i went with.
