Browse All TopicsI'm using Joomla 1.5.14(latest I think). And I would like to add file sharing for our upcoming event. I want to create like a share folder that anyone can add to and download but not delete. We as many people to download as many pictures on this website for the upcoming event.
And I want that they could also upload their pictures as anonymous (they don't have to sign up for an account on the website)
What is the best way to accomplish this? Thanks for your help

This is a guestbook that will allow for image upload from guests.
Be aware that you're asking for a potential spam nightmare if you don't force some sort of authorization on your upload page.
You could create a guest user with a password of "password" or something to that effect with the first mentioned photo-gallery component. that would prevent your users from having to log in each time, but they still would be able to fully use the photo-gallery.
You would just have to post the username and password on your homepage or otherwise make it known to everyone!
