Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI built a drupal site, development was done on hosts url (http:itk.ca.previewyoursi
Our domain is itk.ca
Once site was built, I set up DNS with the registrar so www.itk.ca should work instead of itk.ca.previewyoursite.com
Now, if I go to www.itk.ca, I can see the site, but get access denied when I try to log in.
I tried the following:
1.Turned off clean urls
2.Changed base URL in settings.php
3. changed cookie_domain to $cookie_domain = 'itk.ca';
everything works for the development URL, not www.itk.ca
If I back-up my sites and .htaccess files and re-install Drupal from itk.ca, will it mess up the database, or will it work ok? Any other ideas?
PS. if you look, you'll have to go to http://www.itk.ca/node or http://itk.ca.previewyours
