Flash file is uploaded on to the server. It just doesn't show up. Should I hard code it into it or is there another more "civilised" of doing it? Perhaps there is a joomla component that does that? Thanks

When I need to add a banner that needs to be flash I hard code it into the appropriate location and remove the code that has the default jpg or png header.
However you might want to look at this extension: I haven't used it for a flash header, but it claims to do it and the reviews indicate it can work for headers.

What version of joomla are you using. Can you give us a link to the page. YOu will probably have to hard code it into your template. But let's see what version of JOomla you have.
