Just curious. What happened after rebooting? I can't think of one time that shutting down the computer completely and bringing it back up did not fix the problem of pasting not working.

Browse All TopicsWhen I copy text from either ie 7, wordpad, notepad, microsoft word or outlook I cannot paste it in any program. I've tried ctrl c and ctrl v and I've done right click. Copy is always there as an option but paste is greyed out. I've even highlighted text did the right click, selected copy then went to start -> run c:\windows\system32\clipbr

This has to do with some application that's having a lock over the Windows

Clipboard. David Candy's application should determine the Process that's
causing the problem.
