My exchange 5.5 database is getting too big and running out of space. I don't have another NT 4.0 server with enough disk space to run eseutil.exe on, but I have a windows 2000 server that I would like to use to run eseutil to compact the database. I can't find anything online that tells me if I can run eseutil.exe for the exchange 5.5 running NT 4.0 on a windows 2000 server. Thank you so much!

This "may" free up the necessary space you need to run the utility. You could use the Mailbox Cleanup Agent or Exmerge (if you have some space elsewhere to store the PST's) to do this.
