IIS 6.0 on WIN2K?

I have a client that wants to try to run IIS 6.0 on a Windows 2000 Server that will be a F/E for Exchange 5.5 OWA.  This is a temporary setup for 5 months until they go to Exchange 2003.

The F/E OWA will be on the LAN with the DC and Exchange 5.5.

Anyone know if this will work before I waste time trying it in a lab?
