Hello,
Just to clarify, the IIS directory is: ExchWeb\bin
Make sure that and it's directories underneath are set for anonymous and Basic authenication.

Info: Windows 2003, Exchange 2003, Forms Based Auth
I'm currently running Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 and noticed that when using OWA to read my email, when I click on any URL in my email, another window appears with the standard forms based authenication. But, I'm unable to login, and receive the following error message below the URL.
https://carrier/exchweb/bi
[note my server's portion] and then [the external web site URL]. Error below when attempting to get in.
"You could not be logged on to Outlook Web Access. Make sure your username and password are correct, and then try again."
Any ideas how to resolve this issue?

Hello All,
Turned out that I had changed the authenication for one of the IIS directories that handles web redirection to basic authenication from Anonymous. I had done this to lock everything down.
