I've got a lot of questions, so I'll award points for each one answered
Our company is going to be implementing Exchange very soon so I wanted to get some general knowledge about it before I jump right in, so here's my questions:
1. I need some reference material on implementing exchange (web based is prefered). Topics should include overview of features, steps for installation, email configuration and setup.
2. If we install exchange on a Windows 2003 server, will we have any problems due to the fact that our other servers (file servers, citrix servers, and domain controllers) are all Windows 2000 servers?
3. Is it possible to stop spam, and virus attachments to ever reaching user's inboxes? And if so, is it a fairly easy setup and technically speaking, how does it work (i.e. is it similar to Outlook where you setup rules to block certain subjet lines etc...)
4. I've read a little bit about web based email with exchange. Can a user switch between using outlook and web based email without any problems? Meaning, are the two methods interchangeable so that your email is always synchronized no matter which you use?
5. Does our exchange server need to be on the DMZ, or can we put in on our LAN like normal?
Thanks for the help...
