2 Windows 2000 SP4 servers in a cluster.
Steps that worked for upgrading from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003
Exchange 2003 installed fine on both nodes and can be failed over back and forth. Email testing and OWA works fine
Exchange 2003 service pack 1 was installed on Node A (PASSIVE). It said it installed successfully.
Then then NODE B (Active) was failed over to Node A. At this point the system attendant no longer would start. It would get stuck in a loop and fail to start.
