Fastest way to move mailboxes from a exchange 2003 server to another exchange 2003 server...?

Hi,

What is the "fastest" way to migrate mailboxes from a exch2003 to a different exch2003? I hope the "move mailbox" 1 by 1 isnt the fastest! (think Ive done this before but dont remember how!).

Mailbox Move Wizard is the easiest and fastest, afaik

Move mailbox is the fastest.

Don't forget that it is multi threaded. You can select every mailbox that you want to move, choose move mailbox and then select the server you want to move them to and leave the wizard to get on with it. It will move three or four at a go, once one has done, it moves on to the next one.
In the past I have gone shopping while it has been doing it, or left the wizard to get on with it overnight. I usually watch the first couple go across then leave it to get on with it. You will see a report of mailboxes that have failed.

You can also use this wizard to schedule mailbox moves...So you can queue them up and have them start after hours!
Again, from system manager, just select the mailboxes, right click and choose move, select the destination server and the time, you may want to ignore some errors if you have tried a mailbox and had it fail, check it out
